Employment

Assistant Professor of Political Science, Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, TN: August 2018 - present)

  • Instructor for Law & the Legal System and Legal Research & Writing. 

​

Undergraduate Internship Coordinator for Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University at Albany (Albany, NY: August 2017 - May 2018)

  • Point of contact between undergraduate students and Rockefeller College Career Services.

  • Assist students in revising application materials, such as résumés, cover letters, writing samples, personal statements, and other documents.

  • Guide students in finding internships opportunities in the Capital Region and New York. Instruct and manage a 300-level course on job searching and preparation.

Adjunct Professor, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University at Albany (Albany, NY: January 2014 – May 2017)                

  • Instructor of record for three courses: Law & Policy (five semesters); Law, Sexual Orientation, and Gender Identity (two semesters); and Introduction to American Politics (one semester)

  • Designed course syllabi, prepared and delivered lectures, created and implemented activities, graded assignments, and advised students.

  • Created and taught on-line versions of Law, Sexual, Orientation, and Gender Identity (four winter/summer breaks) using BlackBoard platform.
